Testimonials

  • "Our Parent Advisory Committee proudly sponsored a Lego robotics program last spring, facilitated by Jo-Ann from Engineering Action! Students had a fantastic time constructing race cars and utilizing technology to make their robots move and compete. Jo-Ann excels at customizing her program to accommodate all age groups and skill levels. Given the program's overwhelming popularity, we intend to offer it annually to all students."

  • My students have loved having Jo-Ann lead them through her incredibly innovative, project-based program where students are truly using the engineering design process to solve challenges. Jo-Ann's teaching style is laid-back and fun, and she is incredibly supportive of all types of learners. During her program with my class, I witnessed one of my students engage in science learning in a way I hadn't seen him do before. Introducing robotics and programming to students in this way is a highlight of the school year.
